Bridgette Pilon
BIRDING GUIDE
Bridgette is a nature enthusiast whose passion for wildlife stems from a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a growing curiosity about the bird world. With a background rooted in time spent exploring forests, wetlands, and wild spaces, she brings a fresh and authentic perspective to guiding one shaped not only by field learning, but by genuine wonder for every call, feather pattern, and encounter in the field.
Rather than relying solely on years of technical experience, Bridgette leads with enthusiasm, patience, and a learner’s mindset — inviting others to explore nature alongside them, ask questions, and celebrate discoveries big and small. Her approach helps guests feel welcomed and included, whether it’s spotting a familiar backyard species or glimpsing a rare migrant for the first time.
As Bridgette’s skills and knowledge continue to grow, so does her commitment to sharing the beauty of birds, nurturing new naturalists, and inspiring others to find joy and connection in the wild.

Kyle Swanson
BIRDING and PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDE
Kyle Swanson is an avid birder, naturalist, and wildlife ecologist. His love for nature began at a young age, but he was truly hooked when he identified a bright male American Redstart while camping, using his brand-new field guide, a moment that sparked a lifelong fascination with birds, and bird ecology.
Since then, Kyle has spent countless hours in the field, traveling across Canada in search of birds and other wildlife and the diverse habitats they live in from boreal forests, the western plains, to the rocky mountains.
While birds remain at the heart of his interests, Kyle is equally enthusiastic about herpetofauna, dragonflies, mammals, and the broader ecological communities that make each landscape unique.
Kyle is also a dedicated wildlife photographer. What began as a way to document species for his bird lists gradually grew into a deeper appreciation for capturing wildlife within their habitats and capturing those moments that you only get once you truly understand your subjects.
